A beautiful necklace and earring set I created using a huge side-to-side drilled pendant. Both the pendant and "turquoise" nuggets are want-a-be Mohave Green Turquoise from China. At worst they are dyed white Magnesite or possibliy they are turquoise chalk that has been color shot and combined with a binder. Lots of these stones are being sold in the southwest as real Mohave Green Turquoise; were it so! Also incorporated into this set were 3 and 6 mm carnelian beads and sterling silver findings including a toggel clasp and ear wires. The nuggets are mostly about an half an inch in length and the pendant is 2" by 1 1/2". The necklace is 22" in length and the earrings are 1 1/4" plus the ear wire.. If these necklace and earrings were made using real Mohave Green Turquoise rather than Chinese Turquoise, the price would be very high. So...enjoy the look of expensive turquoise for a very reasonable cost.
