Another beautiful necklace I created using huge end drilled "turquoise" nuggets from China that resemble Mohave Green Turquoise. The nuggets likely are white stone nuggets that have been shot with color during the stabilization process as the color is mostly consistent throughout the nuggets. Also used were faceted carnelian beads and sterling findings including beads, cones and a toggle clas. The huge want-a-be Mohave Green nuggets vary from about 5/8" to 1 1/4" and the necklace is 22" in length. The carnelian beads are about 12 mm in diameter and appear to be hand polished as they are not consistant in shape giving them a unique look. If this necklace were made using real Mohave Green Turquoise nuggets this size rather than Chinese "Turquoise" the price would be very high. So...enjoy the look of expensive turquoise for a very reasonable cost.
