A beautiful and unique necklace I created using want-a-be Kingman turquoise and 4 mm carnelian beads. Turquoise includes a 1 1/2" disk used as a center drop focal point and four 1 1/8" by 1/2" puffed rectangles. The turquoise is want-a-be Kingman Turquoise from China. At worst it is dyed white Magnesite or possibliy it is turquoise chalk that has been color shot and combined with a binder. Lots of these stones are being sold in the southwest as natural turquoise; were it so! Also incorporated into this necklace was a sterling silver toggel clasp. The necklace is 21" in length,
If this necklace was made using real Kingman turquoise rather than Chinese Turquoise, the price would be very high. So...enjoy the look of expensive turquoise for a very reasonable cost.
