In creating this jewelry set I selected 6 mm turquoise beads, 6 mm sponge coral beads, 20 x 25 mm teardrop sponge coral beads and sterling silver findings including Bali spacer beads and a toggle clasp. The necklace is 16 1/2" in length and has a bib like appearance!
These sponge coral beads are crafted from chunks of natural sponge coral that have been harvested in the deep sea, They are cut, ground, polished and color treated to give them their red-orange glow. The natural variations and lines add to the uniqueness of these beads.
